In partnership with Iglesia Núcleo church, CO Monterrey launched in 2020. Monterrey is home to over 200,000 college students but has little campus ministry presence. However, the vast number of students and Mexico’s strong spiritual history cultivate fertile ground for the gospel to take root. The team seeks to reach students at Monterrey Tech.

Pray for the location…

  • God did amazing things in 2023. He has brought students from darkness to light. The baptisms and public professions of faith were huge blessings to the Staff and the church.

  • The Nucleo Church plant grew from 25 to 60 by the end of 2023.

  • Christian students are sharing their faith with others.

  • The first CO Monterrey Summer Beach Project! 

  • The 25 participants will grow in and develop their relationships with the Lord.

  • The community/fellowship of the Christians will be deepened and intensified.

  • Students grow in their understanding of how to read the Bible.

  • Students learn how to share their lives with each other with vulnerability and accountability. 

  • Students grow in prayer.

  • Students grow in vision for the campus of Monterrey Tech and for the lost world.

Pray for the staff…

  • New LEAD Staff are preparing to join the team, finishing support and training, Spencer and Jenna.

  • The team to make progress in learning what it looks like to do ministry in the Mexican culture.

  • Gloria to have the opportunity to develop her skills in speaking to groups and teaching.

  • To courageously speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). 

  • Pray for Ben, to be disciplined, effective, initiating, and convinced of the roles God has given him.

Pray for the students…

  • That God would grow in the believers, a vision for the lost to know Jesus.

  • That God would build up the student leaders to take the gospel to their lost friends.

  • That God will grow the seed of the gospel in non-believers' hearts.

  • That He would reveal His Truth to them in His Word by the power of the Holy Spirit.
