CO Charlotte, in partnership with Christ Covenant Church in Matthews, North Carolina, launched a long-term Campus Outreach team in Johannesburg in 2002. The team started with 24 American staff members but now has a growing number of South Africans, including a South African Team Leader. The ministry has launched additional teams in Lusaka, Zambia, and Cape Town, South Africa.

Pray for the location…

  • This team serves and resources the 3 CO Johannesburg teams.

  • Pray for Logan as she leads, cares for, and helps develop the four American LEAD Staff in Johannesburg/Pretoria, South Africa.

  • The LEAD Staff will all be assessed in mid-April. Please pray this week will be filled with wisdom, guidance, and discernment as they reflect and pray about what God is calling them to do next! (Chandler, Graham, Matthew, Katherine, Morgan, Lindsey).

  • The Lord to provide supplemental financial support for any South African Staff with support gaps this year.

Pray for the staff…

  • To serve out of a place of health as they seek to glorify God & pace themselves well in this very busy term.

  • The Lord would give this team wisdom in transitions & changes as they occur within our team.

  • Quite a few members of our team are currently in a season of support raising. Please pray that they will grow in trust and faith in the Lord as they see Him doing big things in providing for them and answering prayers.

  • Also, pray that each of them can reach 100% support by the end of this term, which is at the end of June.

Pray for the students…

  • That God would grow in the believers, a vision for the lost to know Jesus.

  • That God would continue to grow and strengthen the 60+ students are in relationship evangelism and/or an intentional discipleship process. That God would grow them up in their faith and give them grace in the process.

  • That God will grow the seed of the gospel in non-believers' hearts.

  • That He would reveal His Truth to them in His Word by the power of the Holy Spirit.
