Pray for Guadalajara, Mexico

Universidad de ITESO

In partnership with Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, Illinois, CO Peoria launched a long-term Campus Outreach team in Guadalajara in 2017. The team serves in The Circle of Silence, a region of Mexico with less than 2% evangelicals. They hope to expand to new campuses soon as more graduates begin the process of joining the ministry as campus staff.

Praise God for…

  • God provided Zack Kempf with 100% support!!

  • This past December, 6 students, Angel, Gael, Mariana, Fatima, Edgar, and Yit traveled with the GDL team to the U.S. CO Midwest Network New Year's Conference in Indianapolis. They all committed themselves to knowing God. God used this time away together to deepen our relationships with these students and the trust in one another.

Pray for the location…

  • The soccer ministry on campus be fruitful.

  • The Spirit To move in the hearts of lost students, drawing them to Himself.

  • The Lord will use the team as they evangelize and disciple students.

  • The Lord to save the 3 unbelievers on the trip.

  • God will give the students who are Christians on campus deeper faith in and desire for Him.

  • God will give the GDL team trust and friendships with the students they meet on campus.

Pray for the staff…

  • The CO Guadalajara Director, Kike and Brittany to parent well and to provide encouragement and leadership to the Staff.

  • The Astorga family and the Mayhans as they homeschool and disciple their children. Pray their children will be drawn to the Lord.

  • Have hope in the Lord and patience with those they are evangelizing and discipling.

  • Remain encouraged and faithful in ministry no matter what happens, and know it is God working in and through them.

Pray for the students…

  • For the four students who are investigating who Christ is and why He came to earth.

  • That God would grow in the believers a vision for the lost to know Jesus.

  • That God would build up the student leaders to take the gospel to their lost friends.

  • That God will grow the seed of the gospel in non-believers' hearts.

  • That He would reveal His Truth to them in His Word by the power of the Holy Spirit.
