In 1998, a Campus Outreach team launched in Brisbane to work alongside an existing university ministry. The team's name changed to University Impact in 1999, but it still functions as a franchise of Campus Outreach SERVE. God continues to work through the ministry, with more than 50 former staff and student alumni mobilized to serve Him in over 40 countries, including India, Bangladesh, and Japan.

Pray for the location…

  • Remembering that they work with the strength and spiritual power that God supplies.

  • The Lord to bring forth much fruit this year.

  • Classes began mid-February. Pray for the campus events that have already happened - that God would allow students that Staff have met to remember those interactions and that new friendships would come from them.

  • Meet many more students as the school year progresses, that God will soften hearts to the Gospel, and that Staff will be able to begin building relationships with them!

  • God will continue to give Staff opportunities to share their faith with nonbelievers.

  • The youthful zeal of the students would continue through the semester and would multiply in the lives of other students. 

  • First-years met during Orientation Week would get plugged into CO (called Impact on campus) this semester!

Pray for the staff…

  • All the children of the Staff to give their hearts to Jesus.

  • Financial support for Maise and Emily so they can get on campus ASAP.

  • Financial support for Austin to be able to stay until the end of 2024 and finish well with the young men he is discipling.

  • Please pray for wisdom and faith as Austin makes a long-term decision about where he will serve next by the end of the semester. He has many open doors.

Pray for the students…

  • That God would grow in the believers, a vision for the lost to know Jesus.

  • That God would build up the student leaders to take the gospel to their lost friends.

  • That God will grow the seed of the gospel in non-believers' hearts.

  • That He would reveal His Truth to them in His Word by the power of the Holy Spirit.
