- The mission of IT2 is to globally promote the region
and state as an international commercial center.
- The IT2 promotes
international trade and business development in foreign
markets utilizing state-of-the-art information
technology infrastructure.
- The Economic Development Administration (EDA) of the
U.S. Department of Commerce provided a $2.25 million
grant to The University of Texas - Pan American to help
build the $3.1 million International Trade and
Technology Center.
- The IT2 Building has 21,505 gross sq. ft.
- The IT2 Building houses some of the major components
of The Office of Center Operations and Community
Services (CoSERVE).
