The Data and Information Systems Center is pleased to announce the publication of our “Census Tract Factbook” for the Rio Grande Valley. Building on the success of the 1990 release, our new Census Tract Factbook is filled with valuable data from Census 2000 and puts information for all census tracts in the Rio Grande Valley (Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr and Willacy) in one easy-to-use publication.

Complimenting our ongoing Profiles books released since 2000, the current set contains information such as:
- educational attainment
- personal and household income breakdowns
- age and sex population breakdowns
- household and family characteristics.

Attached is a sample one-page tract profile that you will find in the Factbook. (Right-click and select “Save Target As” to download the Adobe PDF document).
