Location:Brooks County is in the Rio Grande Plain region south of Corpus Christi on U. S. Highway 281. Bounded by: Duval and Jim Wells counties on the north, on the east by Kleberg and Kenedy counties, on the south by Hidalgo and Starr counties, and on the west by Jim Hogg County.
